Ronn Wallace is an inquisitive & persistent optimist who enjoys building things from nothing and has a passion for emerging technology. Ronn’s curiosity for technology started at age 8, building his first gaming application on a Texas Instrument TI 99/4. Ronn later attended St. Johns River State College before transferring to Santa Monica College (SMC) in Southern California for Interaction Design.
After SMC, Ronn joined GSociety Inc. (GSOC), the first “Gay” Media and Entertainment company traded on the NASDAQ, working on national campaigns for brands such as Queer As Folk, Absolute, & Showtime.
Ronn’s entrepreneurial spirit eventually led him to create Spongeworks, a Los Angeles marketing agency producing multimillion-dollar campaigns for Delta Airlines, Subaru of America, British Tourism Authority, & Oracle. All of these successful endeavors have led him to his role now as Director of Swell.
Ronn enjoys the intersection of technology, design, storytelling, and understanding people, all of which are vital components of a successful business. At Swell, Ronn oversees all aspects of sales, marketing, design, development, and nurturing those intersectional opportunities.
In his downtime, you can find Ronn cooking or training for his next triathlon. He is also a frequent competitor in the Trail Running World Championships.
Marilou is currently the accountant of the Swell Digital Marketing Agency, with responsibility for a full cycle of accounting ledgers and financial reports. Growth of the company is always at the top of her mind. Helping the company achieve its goals, she was drawn on flexibility of work hours if the job gets done. Prior to her employment as an accountant, with responsibility of a full cycle of accounting and finance, Marilou was a financial analyst, trade settlements, corporate class actions administrator, assistant traders, and investments operation with over 15 years of experience across global equities and fixed income, and mortgage-backed securities in the financial district of San Francisco, California. As a hard-working single mother of four, her children have inspired her passion and drive for life. As she raised them in the Evergreen State of Washington surrounded by cultural adventure since 2003, Marilou found her interest in working to support local family-oriented businesses such as steel recycling, flooring and tiles, constructions, real estate as a full cycle of full charge bookkeeper, certified payroll, human resources, payroll taxes, cash flow, budgets, business excise taxes, and implementation of QuickBooks and other accounting software for streamlined the accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy for the growth of the company goals. In addition to her dully duties, she was appointed/voted to secretary of corporation for two years. In 2017, she returned home to San Francisco. She worked for startup innovative medical devices technology and managed the finance and accounting and supported the executive vice president and senior director of sales & marketing in the Northwest Pacific, Canada, and Mexico; worked for constructions and real estate properties, investments, and professional premium accounting services as an accountant and director of accounting assistant.
Coming from San Francisco, California, Marilou made the decision of relocating to Pensacola to stay close to her children, a 26-year-old son who is an officer and pilot in US Marines Corps, and a 20-year-old daughter who is currently a freshman student at Pensacola State College. Beyond the office, Marilou loves to spend her time with her family, and workout, explore the local farmers market, and most of all, underneath the sunshine and within the beaches of Florida!
Born and raised in Pensacola, Emily is our dynamic and determined Digital Marketing Manager that helps our partners generate quality leads. She is responsible for understanding key performance indicators to create strategic headlines and graphics. Each day, she effectively tests, launches, and adapts campaigns and then reports the return on investment through our measurable system. Generally speaking, she is our pro in running successful social media advertisements and search engine marketing for you or your firm.
Emily spent three years in Kansas City, Missouri to pursue her education and received her B.A. in Illustration from the Kansas City Art Institute. She enjoyed the creative culture and eclectic cuisine of Kansas City but returned as soon as possible back to the beach with valuable education in hand.
Some personal accomplishments of Emily that we are so proud of include being the poster contest winner for the 2019 Greater Gulf Coast Arts Festival, being selected to design a Cubed mural during Foo Foo Fest 2021 and being featured as one of InWeekly's Rising Stars in 2022.
When she’s not in the office, you can find her at Bayview dog park, at Pop Comics in East Hill, or oil painting in her studio. Emily is very passionate about the creative community growing in her hometown here in Pensacola and thrives in its artistry. It’s clear that creativity is her strong suit and we are lucky to have Emily as a team member at Swell.
Sandra brings in her many strengths in content creation and graphic design in her role as Design & Marketing Assistant. She’s our ace at blog writing and optimizes each with SEO material so our clients rank high in Google searches. With her outstanding capabilities, Sandra creates visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate others.
As part of a military family, Sandra was born in Wiesbaden, Germany but lived in Orlando, Florida for 20 years. She is a Florida State Seminole and graduated with her B.S. in Psychology, but had an eye for marketing and design. Years later, she moved to Pensacola to be closer to family and has been here ever since.
Out of the office, Sandra enjoys macro photography, cooking for her family and friends, making clay miniatures, and gardening, all of which fuel her creativity. Another thing about Sandra is that she is a proud cat mom! We’re happy to have her, and her cats, as part of our team.
